First, sign in and click the circle in the bottom left corner to get to the Launcher. Then type "Play Store" and click on the option with the Multicolored Arrow symbol to the left of the name. This will open up a new window.
In the Play Store, there will be a few apps. Click on the one labelled "VLC for Android". This will bring you to it's specific app page.
Once in the specific page, click the install button. It will take some time after that, but then it will be installed!
You should then be able to find VLC in the Launcher from step 1.
