How do I use the WiFi on my personal device?

There are several WiFi networks for you to use for your personal devices.

Please bear in mind, every phone is a bit different so these instructions may not perfectly match what you see.
The tech department also do not make any guarantees with regard to personal devices.

These are the networks for personal devices:
- Guest
- PSD Staff
- PHS Warriors
- PMS Braves
- PES Falcons
- BES Wildcats
- CPS Cubs

You can connect to any of these networks without a password.
Once you do, you should see a notification similar to the following:
Clicking on the notification will open your browser and take you to a login screen.
(It's also possible there will be no notification and your browser will open the login screen automatically.)

The simplest network is "Guest"
This is a heavily filtered network anyone can use. We cannot make exceptions to filter rules here, as children technically have access to this network. You'll need to read the terms and conditions, check the box, and hit "Continue to the internet."

The other networks (PSD Staff & school mascot networks) are also for personal devices, however they require you to first sign in with your district Google account. After logging in, you'll be filtered correctly (so staff can access Facebook, Spotify, etc.)

After connecting to the network, and clicking the notification (if needed) your browser should open to a login page like this:
Simply click "Sign in with Google" to be taken to the Google login page.
You WILL need to authorize using your 2-factor method, the same as any other Google login.
For those who opted for a hardware authenticator (yubikey), you may or may not be able to use it with your device and we do not offer support in this regard.

I CAN'T CONNECT! (Troubleshooting)

Until you log in, your device may "believe" it doesn't have internet and try to disconnect you from the Wifi.
You may see a notification like this:

Go ahead and click on it. You should see something like this pop up:

Check the box and click yes to stay connected to the Wifi while you get yourself logged in.
If you disconnect from the wifi, none of the rest of the troubleshooting will work.

If you see an error like this (or any other error really)...

...turn off mobile data on your phone, so that your only source of internet is WiFi.
Now open your Web Browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.), open a new Incognito/Private tab, and go to http://login.linewize.net
If you see a warning similar to this, please click "Continue" or "Allow", etc.

You should be brought to this page. Click "Login to Network".

You should now be brought to the proper login page. Click "Sign in with Google"
