Before we get into step 1: As a Teacher you do NOT need to install or use the app, at all. You can absolutely just use the website.
Parents (aka "Constitutents") must use the app. This is a limitation of the platform, but it helps to ensure the messages are secure and legitimate, and prevent spam and fraud.
